Takedown Twenty: A Stephanie Plum Novel

Takedown Twenty - Janet Evanovich, Lorelei King 2 stars only because I did finish it.
This was more of the same from Janet Evanovich. It will also mostly likely be the last I read of this series. The characters are not growing, the plots are the same, the humor is the same... It is just getting boring. At least no cars got blown up. I actually had a little hope at one point that this series would start heading in a new direction but then it was shot down.
When Stephanie quit the bonds office and went to work for the butcher, I perked up. I thought to myself, "Now, this could be interesting. Where will she go from here?" Also, when she tried being domestic. I thought, "Finally! She really chose Morelli! No more back and forth!" Not that I don't enjoy Ranger but the story line is tired. I'm over it.
The only reason I did finish this is because it was so short. If it had been much longer, I would have quit and shelved it on my DNF. I guess for the die-hard fans it's worth it. For me, it's just not.
